The grounds of this impressive Victorian sandstone residence deserved some special attention to create a more harmonious transition between the house & surrounding garden.
This was achieved by creating an extensive paved terrace incorporating formal stone steps to a reshaped existing formal lawn. Large informal areas of new tree and shrub planting were laid out to give additional structure to the garden.
The scope of this project enabled us to demonstrate and introduce a wide range of design elements within one garden which is not always possible.
