In this project, the family wanted the garden to serve a variety of functions – a safe play area for a young family, a private entertaining area, and to create an appropriate setting for the house.

The existing garden was basically unusable with areas of sloping grass and challenging levels, the solution was to use the terrain and design and create both sunken and retained terrace areas to achieve areas of interest and functionality. Access was created between all these elements therefore giving greater circulation to all areas of the garden.
